Haiku is a type of Japanese poetry* in which there is a strict syllabic structure**.   Generally these poems will focus on a single image or idea*** and would often be grouped into a larger body of work to encompass a more complete view ****.

In this first set of pieces***** I've tackled death, terrorism, swine flu, and most importantly****** one's ability to look at what life gives them just about any way they please *******.

  You already knew that.
Three lines consisting of 5,7 & 5 syllables each.
I am telling you- things about poetry which- you already knew.
This may not actually be true, but it is what I'm doing.
Which may of course be the only set of pieces if I lose interest or get distracted......hey what was that......?
And most abstractly....to the point that most of you won't know what's actually going on.
You won't mind being on fire if you convince yourself that there is ecstasy to be found in the scent of burning hair.
Or don't.
